7. Mannschaft : Mission erfüllt

Ja, ja, ja wir haben unser gestecktes Ziel “Aufstieg” erreicht.

Nachdem wir mit dem letzten Spiel der Vorrunde erstmalig den 2. Tabellenplatz erklimmen konnten haben wir als Verschworenen-Haufen unser angepeiltes Ziel erreicht. So konnten wir unsere gute Vorrunde nochmals toppen. Wir mussten uns in der Rückrunde lediglich dem Tabellenführer aus Woms-Leiselheim geschlagen geben. Bei den restlichen Rückrundenspielen wurden in Summe lediglich nur noch 4 Spiele verloren. So konnten wir in der Abschlußtabelle uneinholbar mit 27:5 Punkte und 101:28 Spiele den 2. Platz der Kreisliga D1-Worms belegen.
Als besondere Leistung, wollen wir noch erwähnen das wir mit unserem Doppel Schwarz Frank/ Weber Rainer das beste Doppel der Liga mit einer Bilanz 16:1 gestellt haben.
Folgende Spieler kamen 2016/2017 zum Einsatz:
Rainer Weber (Kapitän) , Michael Sperling, Waldemar Beck, Frank Schwarz, Matthias Schwarz und “Mike” Wittenbeck.
Abschließend möchten wir uns bei allen Vereinsmitglieder für die Unterstüzung und Glückwünsche bedanken.
Besonderen Dank gilt unserem größten Fan – Unseren Rolf – der uns immer selbst bei Auswärtsspiele unterstützt hat.
Nun wird noch ausgiebig der Aufstieg gefeiert, denn beim Feiern, sagt unser zukünftiger und alter Kapitän, sind wir sogar die Meister.
