7. Mannschaft verliert Vereinsinternes-Spiel gegen die 5. Mannschaft 1:7

Ohne unseren Mannschaftskapitän mussten wir im 3. Spiel der Saison gegen unsere 5.Mannschaft antreten, was die Folge hatte, dass wir unsere eingespielte Doppelpaarungen umstellen mussten. Unser Doppel Schwarz Matthias / Benny Knoch, die erstmalig zusammen spielten, konnten dem Doppel Gröhl Stefan / Keller Jens dann leider nicht viel Paroli bieten. Das zweite Doppel Schwarz Frank / Waldi Beck musste sich im 5.Satz gegen Holger Dörrschuk / Wolfgang Dillge ebenfalls geschlagen geben. Im vorderen Paarkreuz stand anschließend Waldi Beck / Stefan Gröhl gegenüber sowie Frank Schwarz / Gerhard Hirsch. Bei der zweit genannten Paarung kam es zu einer faustdicken Überraschung, indem der „Schüler“ Frank gegen sein großer „Lehrmeister und Vorbild“ Gerhard überhaupt erstmalig als Sieger von der Platte gehen konnte und so den Ehrenpunkt für seine Mannschaft an diesem Abend holen konnte. Bei allen weiteren Einzelspielen wurde jeweils zumindest ein Satz gewonnen. Hervor hebend zu erwähnen ist, das unser starker Ersatzmann Benny gegen den „alten Hautdegen“ Holger Dörrschuk, ebenfalls einen Satzgewinn für sich verbuchen konnte und die verloren Sätze nur recht knapp verloren gingen. Den Schlusspunkt der Partie und letztlich den 7. Punktgewinn seiner Mannschaft gelang Stefan Göhl für seine 5. Mannschaft wenn auch recht knapp in einem sehr spannenden 5.Satz-Spiel. Er zollte seinem Gegenspieler großen Respekt und gab letztendlich beim abschließenden gemeinsamen Gaumenschmaus zu, das er überrascht war von der Spielstärke der 7. Mannschaft, weithin hat er noch erwähnt „Man weis es nicht wie das Spiel für die 7. Mannschaft gelaufen wäre, wenn ein in bestechender Form aufspielender Kapitän Rainer mit seinem gefürchteten Noppen-Belag heute gespielt hätte.
